Abstract

AbstractColloidal systems hold transformative potential for engineering soft mechanosensors, which are crucial for wearable electronics, healthcare monitoring, and human‐machine interfaces. With their unique physicochemical properties, tunable interparticle interactions, and abundant assembly strategies, these systems unlock unprecedented control over mechanical and sensing behaviors that meet the demand for high sensitivity, broad dynamic range, and rapid response. This perspective delves into the foundational principles of colloidal design in soft mechanosensor, highlighting surface engineering, colloidal assembly, and structural hierarchy as key strategies for optimizing sensor performance. Cutting‐edge applications across healthcare monitoring and adaptive interfaces are discussed, underscoring the versatility and impact of colloidal approaches. Looking forward, a future is envisioned where advancements in colloidal morphology and precise assembly techniques will drive the next generation of high‐performance mechanosensors. By offering a cohesive framework for integrating colloidal science into sensor technology, this work serves as a guide for fostering innovation in this rapidly evolving field.
